Bermuda's newest Tourism experience -- "A safe, self-guided walking Trail" Showcasing many of Bermuda's Public and Private Gardens, plus sites of Cultural and Historic significance.
The book, “HIBISCUS FLOWERS and other flowering plants and trees growing in Bermuda”, presents a concise introductory discussion about the characteristics of the Hibiscus flowering plant, its scientific classification, description, species and uses.
This informative text is enlivened through- out by the generously illustrated, colorful photographic images that were captured by the Authors with an iPhone and a simple point-and-shoot Panasonic ‘Lumix’ camera as the pair travelled throughout Bermuda in search of unique Hibiscus flowers.
The images shown in this book were captured during Rene Rose’s first visit to the island. The book actually evolved from pages that Rene Rose was sharing with her friends and family over the social network medium — FaceBook, which showcases Bermuda from the eyes of a first time visitor to the island.
The HIBISCUS FLOWERS book was originally divided into three parts, but soon became too large, so the authors made the decision to produce four separate books:
"HIBISCUS FLOWERS plus other flowering plants and trees, growing in Bermuda"; "The Bermuda Honey Bee Book"; "A Walking Tour of BERMUDA BOTANICAL GARDENS"; and "Bermuda's Hidden Treasures".
